The Saratoga YMCA is a shining star in YMCA design. Built to remain consistent with the city of Saratoga Springs’ Victorian architectural style, broad columns grace the entry of this building. Similar in feel to the cities’ Spa State Park Hall of Springs and surrounding covered promenades, the YMCA of Saratoga also exceeds YMCA standards, and houses the longest indoor track for any YMCA nationwide.

The structure includes an indoor running track, 8-lane pool with whirlpool and sauna, as well as four locker rooms, a gymnasium, fitness area and extensive child care facilities for infants through school-age children. The facility is also the corporate headquarters and includes an administrative wing on the upper level.

YMCAs rely on capital campaigns to fund construction of their buildings so it was critical to keep on budget, and BHI’s success in this department has made them a preferred builder for YMCAs in the Capital District.  In recent years BHI has built facilities in East Greenbush, Bethlehem, North Albany, Guilderland and the new Fulton County YMCA, which is currently in the final phase of construction by BHI.
