BHI managed three projects for the Mechanicville School District. BHI first tackled the construction of a brand new, two-story elementary school. Included in the new 110,000 square foot building is a library, classrooms, a gymnasium, cafeteria and office space. BHI was able to value engineer this project, allowing the school to upgrade the new addition’s exterior while staying on budget.
BHI’s construction crew then moved onto the Middle School and High School. An addition was constructed at the Middle School, providing of 18,000 square feet of new classroom space, and a 27,000 square foot gymnasium was built at the High School.
School was in session during most of the construction, and BHI coordinated the logistics of the construction and deliveries around the school’s operating hours and bus schedules.
